The 7th Africa Political Summit at the Lux Marijani Hotel, Zanzibar, brought together political consultants, public affairs experts, and leaders from across the globe to discuss strategies and innovations in governance and political affairs.
The two-day event, officially opened by Hon. Haroun Ali Suleiman on behalf of Zanzibar’s President, H.E. Dr. Hussein Mwinyi, featured engaging sessions on campaign tactics, polling methodologies, and political messaging. Esteemed speakers included Sir Jake Berry (UK), Ryan Rogers (US), Dr. Spencer (UK/Italy), Tunde Rahman (Nigeria), and Brent Buchanan (US), offering global perspectives on contemporary political strategies.
The summit’s highlight was the Diamond Awards Dinner, where Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State was presented with the prestigious APC-Africa Democracy Award 2024. The award celebrated his outstanding contributions to democratic governance and transformative leadership in Lagos State. APC-AFRICA President Kipngeno Kirui Duncan commended Sanwo-Olu for setting exemplary standards in governance and public service.
APC-AFRICA, founded in 2016, continues to foster collaboration and innovation among political professionals across the continent. The next summit will be held in Accra, Ghana, furthering its mission to enhance Africa’s political landscape.
