What started as a single studio in Ikoyi, Lagos, has grown into an over $1 million global makeup brand with a robust product line and international distribution.
BMPRO’s makeup line was launched in 2006 with just 14 products, designed specifically to cater to the Nigerian market. The brand quickly gained recognition for its high pigmentation, staying power, and hypoallergenic qualities—traits that were often lacking in international makeup brands. Banke’s deep understanding of the Nigerian climate and culture guided her in creating products that could withstand the hot and humid conditions while maintaining vibrant colors.
Today, BMPRO offers over 65 products, available in Nigeria and other countries like the UK, USA, Ghana, and Canada.
