In 1989, a brutal crime shook New York City to its core. A young woman, known as the “Central Park jogger,” was raped and left for dead in the iconic Central Park. The DNA evidence from the rape kit matched Reyes, leading to the overturning of the Five’s convictions on December 19, 2002.
