Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems caused a stir with her Oscars 2023 appearance thanks to her enormous white dress with a giant headpiece.
Tems, who co-wrote the hit song Lift Me Up with Rihanna attended her first Oscars this year. The song from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was nominated in the Best Music (Original Song) category.
While Naatu Naatu took home the award, Lift Me Up‘s co-creator Tems managed to create headlines with her dress.
The outfit was simply stunning with a long train and off-shoulder look.
Tems also paired it with some silver jewelry such as earrings, a bracelet, rings, and silver nails to match the look. However, it was the giant non-detachable shoulder piece that went up to her head that caused some issues.
While the Nigerian songstress looked absolutely breath-taking, her headpiece blocked the views of those sitting behind her.
