As the Chief Executive Officer of Veritasi Homes & Properties, Nola has not only reshaped the landscape of the Nigerian real estate sector but has also emerged as a dynamic force in addressing some of Africa’s most pressing challenges — housing and food security. Under his leadership, Veritasi Homes & Properties has grown from a modest startup to a powerhouse in the real estate sector. One of his most significant achievements was the successful registration of a N30Billion Commercial Paper (CP) Programme on FMDQ in 2022.

He holds key positions in various domestic and international companies, including A.R.N Farms and Commodities Limited—where he spearheaded the establishment of one of the largest rice milling plants in West Africa — Asteric Asset Management, and Baraka Energy Lithium Processing Limited.

With a degree in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, he further honed his expertise in Real Estate Design, Finance, and Management at Harvard Business School in 2022. His academic journey also includes specializations in Project and Infrastructure Finance from London Business School and Strategic Management and Leadership from the Metropolitan School of Business & Managemen.

Nola’s academic pursuits are a reflection of his belief in the power of education. His mantra, “I read my way out of poverty,” resonates deeply with his journey from humble beginnings to becoming a globally recognized entrepreneur. This philosophy drives his efforts to mentor the next generation of business leaders through the Adetola Business Incubator. His goal is to raise at least 200 successful African entrepreneurs who will, in turn, create employment opportunities and contribute to the continent’s economic development. Every Thursday since November 2018, Nola has been training batches of at least forty realtors and entrepreneurs on business and financial intelligence at his office, demonstrating his hands-on approach to mentorship.

His impact has not gone unnoticed aa Nola was recognized as one of Forbes Africa’s “30 Under 30” in 2019, a reward for his extraordinary achievements before the age of 30. This accolade is just one of many that underscore his contributions to the real estate and business sectors. His recognition by the Financial Times in the annual ranking of Africa’s fastest-growing companies in 2023 further cements his status as a leading figure in African business.

Nola’s expertise and insights have made him a sought-after speaker at prestigious global forums within the real estate and finance sectors. He has graced stages at events such as The Financial Times in London and Yale Business Innovation, where his perspectives on African real estate and economic growth have resonated with audiences worldwide.

At just 34 years old, Adetola Nola has already achieved more than many entrepreneurs could hope for in a lifetime. Born in 1990, he has built a reputation as an excellence-driven and innovative leader with a positive outlook and a wealth of experience. His journey from selling shoes to becoming one of Nigeria’s most influential business leaders might just be a fairy tale.
