The platform’s data-driven approach to beauty recommendations filled a crucial gap in the market, catering to the unique needs of women of color and empowering them to make informed choices about their skincare and makeup products. In 2017, Cast Beauty was acquired by an undisclosed buyer, further validating Morson’s vision and expertise in the beauty and technology space. Following the acquisition, Morson continued to make waves in the industry, serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Cross Culture Ventures, where she leveraged her experience to support and mentor aspiring entrepreneurs.
